Dalarna in the middle of Sweden is a paradise for the cross-country skier: you can make wonderful tours.
If the tracks are open depends on the quantity of snow.
In the direct surroundings of our park you can find a lot of possibilities for cross-country skiing (as well for short as for long,
flat or challenging tours), of course when there is enough snow.
In Falun (Lugnet, Sörskog, Stångtjärn) and in Borlänge (Bergebo, Gyllbergen, Mellsta) you can cross-country ski perfect
on very good prepared tracks. Here are many tracks, some of them are also luminated and at Gyllbergen you can
also make multi-day tours.
At Leksand you can cross-country skiing fantastic on the higher located tracks on the Granberget
There are still a lot more possibilities, we can inform and advise you about it.

If you want to see the real professionals, you can see them at the Svenska Skidspelen of the FIS World Cup Final.
These competitions are organized each year in middle of March at Lugnet in Falun.
In 2015 the Nordic Ski WM (World Championship) will be held in Falun. It is about the sports cross-country skiing, ski-jump and nordic combination.
