In our surroudings there are a lot of biking and walking possibilties and we have several tour suggestions available.
You can make a shorter or longer tour as you wish. The tours start and finish at our holiday park.
You will get from us a map and a description of the routes.
This package can start at every day of the week. Prolongation of your stay (based on B&B prices) is possible, because there are many
more opportunities to do or see in the area.
Below are written two tour suggestions:
Walking tour of 12 – 15 km
Directly after starting the walking tour you will go through the magnificent nature reserve "Änjansdalen", after that the route goes over
unsealed roads and walking paths through forests and fields. En route there are beautiful views, many flowering plants, birds and
if you are lucky you might even see a beaver, badger or hind.
There are not so much height differences during the walk. Sometimes you have to walk through high grass and bushes or
on marshy ground. So long pants and good walking shoes are necessary.
One of the highlights of the walking tour is the fantastic view over the surrounding area and the river Dalälven from Djurmo Klack,
a rocky point 200 meters above the river.

Bicycle tour of approx. 35 km
A bicycle tour through forests, fields and small villages on unsealed roads and small sealed roads. There are enough picnic/swimming
possibilities along the way. Besides that, there are some attractions to visit, among other in Gagnef one of the oldest open-air
museums of Sweden (Minnestuga).
One of the highlights of the tour is the “Flottbro” at Österfors over the river Österdaläven. Only cyclists and pedestrians are allowed
to pass this bridge. At the bridge you can take a refreshing swim in the river.
The other one you will see some kilometres further away during the tour at Gagnefs Kyrkby.
A “Flottbro” is a bridge built on floats. In whole Sweden you can find just two bridges.
